Scheduling your planning meeting:

• We’ll schedule a Zoom planning meeting for about one month before your wedding. This is great timing for our meeting because most of your details have been figured out. The meeting will take about 60-90 minutes. Once we pick a day and time for the meeting, put a placeholder on your calendar. I’ll send the Zoom link as we get closer. If a conflict pops up, we can change the day or time!

Before our planning meeting, work on the following:

• Song selections for special moments
  First dance, grand entrance, parent dances, cake cutting, etc. Also decide whether you’d like any of your formal dance songs shortened. 
• Must-play songs
  Aim for 10–20 tracks that you want to hear at your wedding, either on the dance floor or during dinner. You can share these in a Spotify or Apple Music playlist, or simply list them out during our call!
• Music suggestions playlist (optional)
  You can give me as much or as little musical direction you'd like, so feel free to create a separate playlist for me. I’ll pull from your playlist, and do my best to play as many of these songs as possible. 
• Do not play (optional)
  If there are tracks or artists that you don't want to hear at your celebration, let me know and I'll keep them off the playlist.

About the planning meeting:

During our meeting, we’ll review every detail together and talk through everything. This includes of course the music, time line, your VIPs and other vendors, etc. My goal is that you feel 100% confident in the DJ side of your wedding — and that I fully understand your vision so I can help deliver it for you!

I'll do this in our meeting so I fully understand your intent and vision, and I'll send back to you immediately so you have the notes from our talk. I always consider this a draft plan, and you can absolutely make any changes afterward. I'll highlight any follow-up "homework" from the meeting that either you or I have.
